Nerium

The Nerium Review

A fairly new brand to the global skincare market, Nerium has quickly made a name in the business and skin enhancement industries. Based in Texas, Nerium has quickly become an award winner for skincare products and advertising. Additionally, the Nerium line of products has been featured on various blogs and in industry publications. In addition to selling skincare, Nerium also publishes a lifestyle magazine, prides itself on philanthropic giving and claims to provide opportunities for private people to run their in-home Nerium business.

*Nerium produces items for facial and body skin but this Nerium review pertains specifically to the facial products.

Pros of Nerium Skincare

Your neighbor likes Nerium:

Nerium is one of the fastest growing skincare brands in the United States. This is mostly because many satisfied customers quickly become sales representatives that provide the Nerium products to the masses. More than likely, you already know someone who is using, and possibly selling, Nerium right now. These people can be highly insightful but they are also trained in marketing practices.

Positive Results:

There are impressive reviews of the products. Some users indicate that while they have tried everything for pigmentation and fine lines, Nerium is the first product to really work for them. One reviewer said in just a month she saw her wrinkles improve and her dermatologist saw a difference in the texture of her skin. Overall, the reviews are mixed on Nerium products but some of the positive reviews are pretty enticing.

Cons of Nerium Skincare

Beware of branding:

Nerium is a well-known brand for their skincare products and their intense branding practices. A quick look at their website and viewers quickly recognise that the branding is as much part of their goals as their skincare products. Obviously, this doesn’t make their products less effective but it does mean that consumers should dig deep before purchasing and that their dedication is two-sided.

Not-so Clinical Studies:

Many skincare experts and professionals have long claimed that the industry over-emphasises the quality of their clinical research. Nerium is no exception. Many skincare professionals have indicated that their research is biased and incomplete and one even reported that Nerium has not fully disclosed the possible dangers of one of their main ingredients, the Oleander plant.

Limited Results:

Many Nerium consumers reported initial improvement to their skin but that the results subsided after a few months of use. The reviewers felt like their skin adapted to the active ingredients and they no longer saw improvement and didn’t purchase more of the product. Nerium provides a discount to reoccurring purchase orders but the Nerium reviews indicate that this is a bad idea because you’re unlikely to want the product for more than a few months.

Products to try from Nerium Skincare

Nerium Ad Night Cream:

There is a cream like this for night and day produced by Nerium but the night cream tends to have more positive reviews and results. Many reviewers saw improvement to their pigmentation and fine lines as a result of using this product on their face and neck. Some saw recognisable change in less than a month. The cream is recommended for daily use but it should be mentioned that the main ingredient is the Oleander plant that was previously mentioned.

The final thought on Nerium Skincare

It’s easy to understand why someone would want to try Nerium. It seems like everyone you know has it and is either using it or selling it. Plus, some of the reviews are downright inspiring. That said, it seems like the company is more about branding and less about great, long-lasting products and we’d like to see more clinical tests on this product line.

We will be happy to see your thoughts
