Alpha H

Review of Alpha H Skincare

Alpha H is an Australian owned, created and developed skincare line out of Queensland, Australia. Designed by Michelle Doherty, who was inspired by her own skincare issues, Alpha H promises to revive and rejuvenate skin for men and women. Touted as an honest company, Alpha H prides itself on providing highly concentrated ingredients for significant results. With a few cult favourites from the extensive line of skincare products, Alpha H is internationally known in the skincare industry. This Alpha H review provides insights into the positives and negatives of this family-owned skincare brand.

The positive side of Alpha H skincare:

Price:

Even the most popular and effective Alpha H skincare products are reasonably priced. Alpha H is developed and produced in Australia, which keeps costs down for those using in the country. Additionally, the company is committed to fair pricing and the costs of their products reflect this.

Concentration Factor:

Alpha H touts the high concentration of important nutrients and anti-ageing ingredients in all their products. According to Alpha-H some skincare companies skimp on the concentration to save money but Alpha-H is about results for the customer and believe they can provide reasonable prices and effective tools. Note: Competing skincare companies have declared that over-concentration of some chemicals and nutrients can provide results and harm to the skin.

Glycolic Acid:

Alpha H skincare is dedicated to the use of glycolic acid in their products. Glycolic acid exfoliates the skin and has a small molecular structure ideal for penetrating the skin. It is known for successfully exfoliating, firming, cleansing and tightening the skin. That said, some users report the tingling feeling created by glycolic acid to be itchy, painful or irritating. Other cosmetic companies have changed from using glycolic acid due to these results.

The negative side of Alpha H skincare:

Redness Reaction:

The Alpha H moisturisers and night creams have been reported to incite a redness reaction to certain skin types. Not everyone using these creams saw such results but if you’re prone to red skin or irritation, a different moisturiser might be a better choice.

Dry skin Beware:

Many of the online reviews of even the best products (including the Liquid Gold) reported dry or flaky skin as a result of using Alpha H products. Some beauty bloggers saw these negative reactions in mere days. Generally speaking, the high concentration of ingredients and sensitive skin might not be the best match.

Misleading ingredient lists:

If you’re reading on the Alpha H website or some of the positive Alpha H reviews it sounds like all natural ingredients comprise these little skin wonders. Word like jasmine, lavender and macadamia nut oil are all over the Alpha H reviews, tubes and website. However, the reality is quite different. Most of the Alpha H products have a large quantity of highly concentrated chemicals that comprise a list of unreadable words. These chemicals can have long terms effects on the skin and using them can make it hard to find better solutions for more internal problems.

The Products to try from Alpha H

Alpha H Liquid Gold:

This product is the international cult favourite from Alpha H. It includes a collagen boosting formula, exfoliating properties, and a chemical make-up that cleanses the skin, and establishes equilibrium. Alpha H claims that you can see dramatic results overnight and some reviews maintain that this is, in fact, true. Of course, not everyone sees those results but the product does have a serious following of supporters. This was recommended by Body + Soul Magazine. Note: watch out for the intense scent!

Alpha H Liquid Laser Super Anti-ageing Balm:

Vogue Magazine called this nighttime balm the next best thing to invasive surgical skincare treatments. It is a highly concentrated liquid balm that allows essential oils to get into the skin and deliver nutrients and hydration.
